Outstanding Achievement

In what has been described as a gutsy performance, the Olympia Spartans baseball team won the 2008 Class 2A State Championship by defeating the IVC Grey Ghost 6 to 1 at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, IL. The State Champion Spartans finished the season with a record of 31 wins and 8 losses.
