Mohammed Mohammed earned a 2026 Emerald Gator Award following an outstanding career in cross country and track and field that established him as one of the most accomplished distance runners in program history. A fierce competitor with relentless drive, Mohammed consistently delivered at the highest levels of competition, scoring crucial points for the Gators in conference, regional, and state championship meets across multiple seasons.

On the cross country course and the track alike, Mohammed was a cornerstone of the Green Level distance program. His personal-best marks of 15:27.00 in the 5K cross country, 9:06.52 in the 3200m (Indoor), and 4:16.50 in the 1600m (Outdoor) rank among the fastest times ever recorded by a Green Level athlete. His sub-9:10 performance in the 3200 meters placed him among the elite distance runners in North Carolina, a remarkable achievement in one of the most competitive classifications in the state. Mohammed plans continue his academic and athletic career at Eastern Michigan University, competing at the Division I level in Cross Country and Track & Field.
