The William Tennent High School Speech & Debate Team participates in tournaments sponsored by or affiliated with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Debate League (SPDL), the Philadelphia Catholic Forensic League (PCFL), the Pennsylvania High School Speech League (PHSSL), the National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) and the National Speech and Debate Association.

We are always pursuing interested students to join the team. We compete nearly the entire school year, easily allowing students to work around other pursuits, including athletics. Students from all grade levels are welcome to join our team! The vast majority of our tournaments are in person. Practices are held in person in A206 with virtual practices scheduled as needed.

Meeting Information: Typically meets after school on Wednesdays in A206 until 3:45 PM. Virtual practices are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
