Leni Greenberg - USA

Leni Greenberg is an emerging high-level softball prospect from Southern California, recognized as one of the top young players in the Class of 2029. A versatile athlete, she primarily plays outfield and first base, batting and throwing right-handed, and is known for her power hitting and athleticism.

Greenberg attends Sierra Canyon High School (Chatsworth, CA), where she has quickly made an impact at the varsity level as a freshman. Standing around 5’11”, she combines size, strength, and developing skill, making her one of the more physically advanced players in her class. She has also been ranked among the top outfielders nationally in her age group.  

On the national stage, Greenberg has been identified through the USA Softball High Performance Program (HPP)—the pipeline used to evaluate and develop future national team players. She earned selection as a 2025 USA Softball HPP U-14 Top Performer, a significant honor that places her among the top athletes in her age division nationwide.  

In addition to her USA Softball experience, Greenberg has competed internationally, representing the Israel Junior Olympic team and helping secure a gold medal—further highlighting her ability to perform on a global stage.
