Regina Jorgensen

Leading with experience, passion, and a deep commitment to developing young athletes, Head Coach Regina Jorgensen is the longtime leader of Sierra Canyon Softball. Jorgensen has guided the Trailblazers through multiple seasons with consistency, fundamentals, and competitive spirit.

Since taking the helm of Sierra Canyon softball, Jorgensen has overseen standout teams that have competed at a high level in Mission League play and throughout Southern California. Her squads have featured multiple winning seasons, strong league finishes, and several postseason appearances that reflect her ability to prepare players for success in every phase of the game.

Coach Jorgensen’s leadership emphasizes strong pitching, smart situational hitting, and disciplined defense—hallmarks of a well coached and cohesive softball team. She has helped several Trailblazers earn individual honors, including All League recognition, and guided players who have continued their careers at the collegiate level. One notable alumna is Olivia Madkins, a two time letterwinner at Sierra Canyon who went on to play softball for Columbia University, earn Ivy League Player of the Week honors, and be named an NFCA All America Scholar Athlete.

Beyond the statistics, Coach Jorgensen builds a culture of integrity, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that help her student athletes excel both on the field and in the classroom. Her passion for the sport and her dedication to mentoring young women continue to be a driving force behind the Trailblazers’ competitive spirit each season.
