Head Coach Will Beard brings a wealth of coaching experience to Sierra Canyon, having coached in competitive youth, club, and high school soccer programs for more than 15 years. Before joining the Trailblazers, he served on the coaching staff at Real So Cal Soccer Club, one of Southern California’s prestigious youth development programs. Beard has also coached at Royal High School and Chaminade High School.

Beard began his coaching career at just 21 years old and holds a USSF National “C” coaching license, reflecting his strong foundation in the game’s technical and tactical aspects. At Sierra Canyon, Beard has guided Sierra Canyon’s girls’ soccer program to consistent competitiveness in the Mission League, including a 12‑5‑1 overall record in 2024–25.

Beard’s coaching philosophy emphasizes possession play, tactical intelligence, and collective effort, helping student‑athletes improve individually while contributing to a cohesive team culture. He works closely with players to develop their technical skills, soccer IQ, and confidence under pressure.
