Mysta Goodloe

Class of 2019

Mysta Goodloe was a driving force behind one of the most successful stretches in RJ Reynolds basketball, combining individual recognition with team achievement at a high level.

He played a key role in leading the Demons to the NCHSAA 4A Final Four in 2019, highlighted by a memorable triple-overtime victory over #1-ranked North Mecklenburg in the quarterfinals. That postseason run capped off a standout senior season in which Mysta was named Conference Player of the Year and earned All-Northwest honors.

Mysta’s impact extended beyond his senior year. In 2018, he was also named Central Piedmont Conference Player of the Year and earned All-Northwest recognition, helping lead the Demons to a conference tournament championship. During both seasons, the team finished as runner-up in the highly competitive Central Piedmont Conference regular season standings.

Mysta’s ability to perform in big moments and lead his team through deep postseason runs defined his career at RJ Reynolds. He continued his basketball career at the University of South Carolina Upstate.
