Class of 2025

Adelaide Merrick established herself as one of the premier two-sport athletes in RJ Reynolds history, excelling in both field hockey and lacrosse.

In field hockey, Adelaide earned All-Conference honors in 2022 and 2023 before being named the Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2024. She was a key contributor to conference championship teams in both 2022 and 2024, helping lead the Demons to sustained success.

In lacrosse, Adelaide’s impact was equally impressive. She earned All-Conference recognition in 2023, followed by a standout 2024 season in which she was named Conference Player of the Year while also earning All-Region and All-State honors. She capped her career with another All-Conference selection in 2025. During her tenure, the Demons captured the conference championship in 2023 and finished as conference runner-up in both 2024 and 2025.

Adelaide’s competitive drive, versatility, and high-level performance across two sports have left a lasting legacy at RJ Reynolds. She continued her academic and athletic career playing lacrosse at Denison University.
