Jayden Wilson

Class of 2026

Jayden Wilson established himself as one of the premier athletes in the area through his commitment, discipline, and competitive drive. Having dedicated himself to athletics from a young age, Jayden’s impact at RJ Reynolds was immediate, as both teammates and opponents quickly recognized his talent and work ethic.

A standout in both football and track and field, Jayden earned All-Conference honors in each sport while becoming one of the top performers in the region. On the track, he elevated his performance to another level, earning Conference Sprinter of the Year honors and rewriting portions of the RJ Reynolds record book with multiple school records.

His defining accomplishment came at the state level, where he captured the NCHSAA State Championship in the 500-meter run, cementing his place among the top sprinters in North Carolina.

Coaches consistently praised Jayden for being an outstanding representative of RJ Reynolds Athletics. Known for his selfless attitude, competitive excellence, and deep understanding of his sport, he continually inspired teammates and pushed those around him to raise their level of play. His leadership and dedication helped set the standard for what it means to be a Reynolds student-athlete.

Jayden’s impact on the football field, the track, and the overall athletic community at RJ Reynolds will be remembered for years to come. He will continue his track and field career at East Carolina University.
