Elizabeth Wallace

CLASS OF 2014

Elizabeth Wallace was a dedicated and well-rounded student-athlete at RJ Reynolds, competing in field hockey, cross country, and track and field while demonstrating leadership across multiple programs.

A captain in both field hockey and track, Elizabeth played a key role in the success of the Demons’ field hockey program during one of its strongest stretches. She helped lead the team to back-to-back appearances in the NCHSAA State Championship game, finishing as state runner-up in 2012 and 2013, and was part of the 2013 conference championship team. Her leadership and consistency were instrumental in sustaining the program’s high level of performance.

In addition to her work on the field, Elizabeth was a committed distance runner, contributing to both the cross country and track teams throughout her career.

Elizabeth’s impact extended well beyond athletics. She continued her academic career at Stanford University and later earned her law degree from Harvard Law School. She was also selected as a Fulbright Scholar in Indonesia.

As of 2026, she is serving as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C.

A lifelong runner, Elizabeth continues to compete in distance events, including the Boston Marathon. Her achievements reflect a commitment to excellence that began during her time at RJ Reynolds and continues today.
