Logan Welch
CLASS OF 2015
Logan Welch was a consistent and dependable presence for the RJ Reynolds baseball program, playing a key role in the team’s success over multiple seasons.
He earned All-Conference honors in 2013, 2014, and 2015, demonstrating his ability to perform at a high level year after year. His standout season came in 2014 when he was named Central Piedmont Conference Player of the Year, helping lead the Demons to a conference championship while serving as the team’s starting pitcher. That same team advanced to the NCHSAA 4A State Quarterfinals.
Logan capped off his high school career in 2015 with All-State recognition and was a three-time All-State selection overall. He also earned recognition beyond the high school level, playing in the 2014 Powerade State Games and being ranked among the top players in North Carolina by Perfect Game, including the No. 11 right-handed pitcher in the state.
A team captain as a senior, Logan’s leadership and steady performance on the mound made him a cornerstone of RJ Reynolds baseball during his time.
He continued his baseball career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
