Winborne Broughton

Class of 2020

Winborne Broughton was a key contributor to the success of RJ Reynolds field hockey, putting together a career defined by consistency and impact at a high level.

She earned All-Conference honors as a sophomore in 2017 while also being named 2nd Team All-State, helping lead the Demons to a conference championship. She continued to build on that success in the following seasons, earning both All-Conference and All-State recognition in 2018 and 2019, as the Demons finished as conference runner-up each year.

In addition to her achievements in field hockey, Winborne was a member of the girls lacrosse team during her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, contributing to the program across multiple years.

Her senior spring lacrosse season in 2020 was unfortunately cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing an abrupt end to her final high school season.

Winborne’s steady performance, versatility, and commitment to her teams left a lasting impact on RJ Reynolds Athletics.
