2022 2010 Softball Pitcher

Jen excelled on the softball diamond for the Lady Raiders. She led Columbia to three straight district finals, four Patriot Athletic Conference Championships, and a #4 District III State ranking. As a senior, Jennifer's record was 16-4 with an ERA of 0.55 while striking out 211 batters. Her four year overall record was 55-12, hurling 662 strikeouts in 455 innings pitched and had a four year ERA of 0.72. Jennifer recorded 30 shut outs which included nine no hitters and three perfect games. She was named to the PAC 1st Team three times, Lorain County 1st Team three times, Northeast Ohio District 1st Team two times, and twice selected as the Patriot Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Jennifer was placed on the All Ohio Honorable Mention team in 2008 and in 2010 she earned 2nd Team All Ohio honors. The coaches of the Lorain County Softball Coaches Association selected Jennifer as the winner of the Miss Softball Award in 2010. Jennifer also played one year of varsity basketball, was a member of the CHS National Honor Society and student council and was on the Sportsmanship Committee. Jennifer recieved a Division 1 college scholarship, thus continuing her academic and athletic career at the University of Toledo. Shebecame the Rockets varsity pitcher in 2011. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Healty Care, then earned her Master's degree in Marketing. Jennifer currently resides in Dayton and works at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in the contracting department.
