2020 2007 Track | Cross Country

Karin was an exceptional long distance runner on the Raiders Cross Country and Track teams. She was the first girl in school history to qualify for the Cross Country State Championship meet and earn All Ohio honors. Her outstanding achievements include: CHS track team MVP for 3 years, Plain Dealer and Chronicle Telegram Player of the Week, Division II-III Lorain County Female Runner of the Year, Conference cross country champion, Conference track champion in the 1600 and 3200m race for 2 years, received 6 All Conference awards-3 each in cross country and track, 3 times District Track Champion, 4 times All Ohio-twice in cross country and twice in track, and a 4 time Academic All Ohioan. In the State Championships, she placed 5 times. In cross country, she placed 10th and 20th. In track, she placed 10th in the 1600, 3200, 4x800 relay, and the 5k in cross country. Karin also participated in JV volleyball and JV basketball and was a member of the CHS National Honor Society. Karin attended Baldwin Wallace University where she ran cross country for 4 years and was a member of the indoor and outdoor track teams for 3 years. As a Freshman and Junior, her team won the Cross Country OAC Championships and qualifiedfor the DIII National Meet. Karin is married and created her own successful dog training business.
