Played basketball and baseball at CHS. In basketball, he was selected CHS MVP, 2nd Team INland Conference, 1st Team Inland Conference MVP, 1st Team Lorain County, Mr. Basketball Lorain County, 1st Team All District and Special Mention All Ohio. As a senior, he averaged 23 points per game and is the 2nd all time leading scorer in CHS history. In Baseball, his pitching record was 8-1 and 9-2 and his batting average was over .500. He was selected CHS MVP, 1st Team INland Conference, 1st TEam Lorain County and All Ohio High School Coaches Association. Gregg played in the North-South All Ohio game for basketball and baseball and played both sports at John Carroll University.
