2023 1965 Track

The team was composed of seniors, Dave Kuhn and Dick Moore, sophomore, Glenn Putt, and freshman, Bill Sanders. The relay team had a very successful season, taking 1st place at several track meets, including meets at Avon, Brookside, and Keystone. They captured 1st place at the big Firelands invitational and the Inland Conference meet. At the District Class A track meet held at Baldwin Wallace College, the Raider relay team placed 2nd out of 20 teams with a time of 1:37. The team advanced to the Regional Meet, finishing 1st with a new school record time of 1:34.7. At the State Track Meet, the relay team broke their record time with a new record of 1:34.4, becoming the State runner up to New Concord John Glenn High School, whose winning time was 1:34.1. The teams school record time of 1:34.4 held for 44 years. It was broken in 2009.
