2019 1960 Basketball

Dale was an outstanding 3-sport letterman at CHS. He played basketball for 4 years, with 3 on the Varsity squad. Dale earned 2nd Team All-County Honors his Junior year. During his Senior year, Dale led the Lorain County League in scoring with an 18.6 game average. For the 22 game season, he scored 354 points, averaging 16.1 points a game. Dale led the Raiders to the Lorain County Tournament Championship, a Sectional Championship, and advancement to the District Finals held in Canton. Dale was captain his Senior year. He was selected for First Team on the Berea News Southwestern All Star Team and for Honorable Mention on the United Press Class A All-Ohio Team. Dale played football for 4 years, earning 3 Varsity letters as an offensive tackle and defensive end. During the track season, Dale ran the 880, did high jump, and threw shot put, earning many medlas in these events his Senior year. After High School, he joined the Air Force. Dale currently lives in Florida where he and his son own Key Plumbing Service Inc.
