2016 1973 Basketball

Played 4 years of basketball at CHS, scoring 1903 points, with a game high 45 points. He had a 22.5 scoring average, shooting 52% from the field & pulling down 1,300 rebounds. Dan led hus team to 3 Inland Conference Championships, 3 Sectional Championships, a District Championship, and a Regional Championship appearance. He was selected 1st Team Inland Conference 3 times, 1st Team All Ohio twice, and 1st Team Northeast District. He was named to the Cleveland Press All-Scholastic Team twice and the Plain Dealer Dream Team. Dan was the 1973 Ohio Basketball Player of the Year. His #33 basketball jersey was retired February 10th, 1973. Dan continued playeing basketball at Baldwin Wallace University, where he received Academic All-American honors.
