2023 1994 Wrestling

Keith was an outstanding athlete for the Raiders wrestling program. In his four yuear Varsity career, Keith earned 121 victories, was a 4-time Beachwood Invitational champion, a 3-time Columbia Invitational champion, 2-time Aurora Invitational Champion, Medina Invitational Runner-Up, an Plain Dealer Wrestler of the Week. Keith won the MAC-8 Conference Championship three times. He was a sectional champion twice and a district champion twice. As a sophomore, he was a state qualifier in the 103lb weight class. Keith placed 5th in the state tournament in the 112lb class as a junior. As a senior, Keith was the team captain, was team and conference MVP, and had a 35-1 record. He finished his high school career by winning the 1994 State Championship in the 112lb weight class. At the 1994 All Star Match, Keith was selected as the Wrestler of the Year by the Lorain County Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association. He was inducted into the Lorain County Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2007. A lifelong Columbia resident, Keith currently runs the family business, Mescan Windmills.
