He believes high school athletics provide some of the most powerful life lessons young people experience, shaping confidence, discipline, and resilience. Influenced by respected mentors throughout his career, Coach Siegel emphasizes clear expectations and empowers players to take ownership of their growth both on and off the court, creating a culture built on trust and responsibility.
Coach Siegel has coached at multiple levels, including junior varsity and varsity roles across Ohio and North Carolina, with stops at Grandview Heights, Perrysburg, Mechanicsburg, Alston Ridge Middle School, and Green Level High School before joining Apex. What he values most is seeing former players grow into successful men, husbands, and fathers, and maintaining lifelong relationships with those he has coached. Coach Siegel appreciates being part of an athletic department at Apex that prioritizes character, accountability, and life lessons beyond wins and losses. Outside of basketball, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling, and has completed multiple Half Ironman triathlons as well as a full Ironman.
