2022 Class 3A State Champions

The 2022 Class 3A Champions were coached by Brett Bogert to a 13-1 record. The only blemish on the season came in loss to defending 4A State Champion Clinton. After losing in the semifinals the previous 3 years, a senior class led by Liam Burton, Cooper Cookson, River Faulkner, Zach Fetrow, and Orie Walker persevered and found themselves hoisting the coveted Gold Ball at UCO in December.

Highlights of the season included the 'lake' in the end zone at Millwood, the Snow Bowl in the playoffs again Anadarko, and Coach Bogert's 100th career win in the semifinal over Verdigris, and the record-setting scoring explosion in the State Championship game against Metro Christian – most points scored by a team in a State final (72) and most combined points scored in a State final (128).
