1988 Class 2A State Champions

With the return of several members of the 1987 Championship Team, the 1988 version of the Charger Boys' Track team had well-founded high hopes to go back-to-back, and they did just that! Seniors Brent Johnson '88 and Mike Howell '88 headlined a strong senior group, also consisting of Lance McDaniel '88, Trey Moran '88, Frank Miskovsky '88, Steve Magness '88 and Blake Pellow '88. Add in vital team members Kevin Hagan '90, and Jason Padgett '90, and the Chargers were off and running to the school's second State Championship.
