2017 Class 3A State Champions

After a 20-year hiatus, the Chargers returned to the top of the Track & Field world with a 7-man team!

The Chargers won the title by a single point over OCS (83-82):

• 6th Place 800m (Logan Johnson '17) - 1 pt

• 3rd Place 4x100m  (Rayjon Davis '17, Billy Ross, Jr. '19, Phillip Smitherman '20, Sayvon Milton '17) - 12 pts

• State Champion 4x200m  (Rayjon Davis '17, Billy Ross, Jr. '19, Jaden McDaniel '19, Sayvon Milton '17) - 20 pts

• State Champion 100m (Billy Ross, Jr. '19) - 10 pts

• State Champion 200m (Billy Ross, Jr. '19) - 10 pts

• State Champion 400m (Sayvon Milton '17) - 10 pts

• State Champion 4x400m  (Les Thomas '17, Phillip Smitherman '20, Jaden McDaniel '19, Sayvon Milton '17) - 20 pts
