2018 Class 5A Team Champions

Led by All-City Coach of the Year, Jenny Ferguson '96, and freshmen phenoms Brooke Thompson '21 and Annabelle Treadwell '21, the Chargers were able to garner their first title since the 2015 season. Thompson and Treadwell completed the first singles sweep for the Chargers since the 1994 season, with Thompson being the first freshman to win the #1 Singles crown since 1994 and finishing 28-0. Along for the ride and garnering their own State Championship in #2 Doubles were Sophomore Genesis Franks '20 and Senior Lauren Harvey '18. Rounding out the title performance for the Chargers was the #1 Doubles duo of Juniors Phoebe Shapard '20 and Ryan Thompson '20, as they garnered State Runner-Up honors.
