1979 Class 2A Team Champions

It only took 10 years of existence as a school for the Chargers to achieve their first feeling of a back-to-back championship run. The 1979 team put together three individual State Championships on its way to the overall team title, bolstered by two experienced juniors and two talented freshmen.
