2014 Class 4A State Champions

A team full of underclassmen, including 3 sophomores and 2 freshmen, ran roughshod through the spring and ultimately capped it off with a State Title.  The team followed up their Team Championships at the Seminole Tournament and at the Enid Tournament with an impressive 287 (an average score of under-72) to claim the El Reno Invitational.  As a tune-up for the State Preview, the Chargers shot a 291 at the Kingfisher Tournament.  The Chargers entered State Previews as the favorite and left no doubt, garnering the Tournament Championship there, and then returned to the State Championships and dominated the field on their way to the title.
