2012 Class 4A State Champions

Starting the day with a five-shot lead, Heritage Hall's Trent Mewbourn made an eagle putt on the 18th hole to win the Class 4A individual state championship late Tuesday.

The senior's two-shot victory also propelled the Chargers to a second straight title at Lake Hefner North. Heritage Hall beat Elk City by seven shots.

Mewbourn carded a 54-hole total of 207, highlighted by a 6-under 66 in the first round.

Heritage Hall's Michael Helton finished in a three-way tie for sixth at 218. Gavin Mastell was a shot back in a two-way tie for ninth.
