Jane (Charles) Shaw has made a career in the film industry. She was an executive producer at Apple Box Productions in Vancouver, where she is working on a feature-length film about a Russian woman who walks across Canada to her homeland. 

She produced a feature film called Once in a Blue Moon, which premiered at the Toronto and Vancouver Film Festivals.
