A three-year starter, All-State selection, and 1,000-point scorer (1,233) at Colonie, Brian Larrabee led the Raiders to a school-record 26–2 season and a Suburban Council championship under Coach Doug Kilmer. The 1999 Times Union Player of the Year, he went on to Southern New Hampshire University, where he scored 1,500+ points, was a two-time All-Northeast 10 pick, three-time Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and the school’s first NCAA First Team Academic All-American. He later played professionally in Portugal, was inducted into the SNHU Athletic Hall of Fame (2011) and the New York State Basketball Hall of Fame (2014), and founded Good City Mentors, a nonprofit in Los Angeles.
