As a D.A.R.E. officer with the Colonie Police Department, Brian Casey touched the lives of many children in South Colonie. 

After graduating from Hudson Valley Community College, he served in the U.S. Navy for two years, completed Basic Officer Training and attended the FBI Academy’s Special Tactical Training Firearms School.

He spent countless hours counseling students on the dangers of drugs and alcohol and the importance of wearing seatbelts and bicycle helmets.
