The Colonie Girls’ Cross Country Team of 1985 was the New York State Class A Champion, ranked as the 7th best team in the entire state. They were also the Suburban Council Blue Division Champions for the fourth year in a row. The team was 10-0 in dual meets and won nine straight invitationals. The varsity team consisted of:

Seven team members were named to the Suburban Council All-Star Team. They were led by Coach Frank Myers who was named Coach of the Year in the Suburban Council for 1985.
