Paul Foster, CCHS Class of 1969, was a four-year wrestling standout with a career record of 77-8. As senior captain, he won the Section II Championship with a 27-1 record and later received the Colonie Wrestling Distinguished Alumni Award. He also played three years of soccer, earning All-Conference honors as a senior. At William Penn University, Paul helped launch the wrestling program and was voted team captain. He went on to a 35-year career in education, highlighted by seven conference titles, two district championships, over 50 state qualifiers, and the school’s first state champion as head wrestling coach. He was a five-time District Coach of the Year and later served as Associate Principal at Oskaloosa Middle School. Now retired, Paul enjoys cheering on his grandchildren and golfing with friends, where he has recorded an impressive six holes-in-one.
