Chuck Dukes graduated from Colonie High School in 1989 as Section 2's all-time leading rusher. Chuck ran 3,369 yards, including 1,705 in his senior year, the most ever at the time in Section 2. That year, Chuck guided Colonie to a Section 2 football title alongside his running back mate, Chad Dukes. Chuck had the single-game rushing record of 343 yards. He scored 23 touchdowns in his senior season, when he was named to the USA All-American team and won New York State Junior Heisman and Empire State Male Athlete of the Year honors. Chuck was chosen as Player of the Year by the Times Union, Schenectady Gazette and Troy Record.Chuck continued his success at Boston College, where he was named the Associated Press All American. In 1992 he set the single-season rushing record and was also the Big East rushing leader.Chuck entered the NFL and signed with the Washington Redskins in 1993 and later joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1994. Chuck played in the World Football League until an injury ended his professional career. With a passion for for helping young athletes, Chuck now coaches youth football players. He is the CEO of Chuck Dukes Football Academy.
