A graduate of the class of 1988, Rick Tallevi was an athlete and a scholar.  A three-sport athlete, Tallevi was a four-year varsity football player.  As quarterback, he led the team that snapped Dobbs Ferry’s 42 game win streak. On the baseball diamond, Tallevi garnered all-league and all-section honorable mention honors tossing a no hitter while being a part of a league championship team.

On the basketball court, Tallevi established himself as one of the best players in the section. He played an integral role in bringing home a section title in 1986, and finished his career with 1233 points, which still ranks him as one of the leading scorers in Rye Neck history.  He was honored with all-league, all-section and all-state honorable mention awards in his senior season.

A Con-Ed athlete and Old Timers Award recipient, Tallevi was equally impressive in the classroom:  the National Honor Society member graduated 4th

in his class.  He attended Muhlenberg College where a career-ending knee injury unfortunately ended his basketball career.
