A 1994 graduate of Rye Neck, Ryan Kochanowicz has been inducted into the Hall of Fame for his outstanding soccer and baseball accomplishments.

A four year varsity starter for the soccer team, Ryan helped his teams win three league titles and one Section 1 Championship. As the leading scorer his senior year, Ryan garnered a variety of honors.  The three-time all-league player was also All-County one year, and All-Section for two. In his senior season he was also named an All-State honoree and a Gannett New All-Star. He continued his career on the pitch at SUNY Albany.

Ryan's prowess also made an impact on the baseball diamond.  Over the span of his four year varsity career, the Panthers won four league titles. In his junior year, Ryan’s team made an appearance in the State Final Four after capturing the Section I D title and Regional Championship.

Ryan’s exploits on the mound and at the plate contributed heavily to the success of the team.  He ended his career with over 15 wins and 116 career hits, at the time a school record, now third on the all-time list. Ryan’s efforts earned him All-Leagues honors three times, All-County once, and All-Section twice.
