1997 Basketball Athlete

Ian Petrillo, a Class of 1997 graduate, was a gamer who excelled on the basketball court. Petrillo led the Rye Neck Panthers as team captain during his junior and senior campaigns in 1996 and 1997. Petrillo is a member of the exclusive 1,000 point scorers club, one of the very few in school history to score over 1,000 career points totalling 1,179 points by the end of his senior season. For his dominant efforts on the court, Petrillo was named a 2X All-League, All-County, and All-Section Player during his high school athletics career with the Rye Neck Basketball squad. He also was selected All-Tournament in the Rye Neck, Somers, North Salem, and John Jay Cross River Tournaments.
