1989 Soccer Athlete

Patty Kassel, a Class of 1989 graduate, was an integral part of the Rye Neck Girls Soccer program during her time as a Rye Neck Panther. In her career, Kassell scored 75 goals and in total scored 137 points. Kassel broke the school record for career assists and to this day still holds the record with 62 career assists. Kassel was not only a phenomenal player, she was a fantastic leader as well and was named Captain of the soccer team during her senior campaign in 1989. Kassel was named All-State in 1989, was a three time All-Section player and a four time All-League player. Kassel was also bestowed the honor of being named a ConEd Award winner and a MSG Coca Cola Athlete of the Week Award Winner.
