2014 Football

Jeffrey D. Logan graduated from The Ohio State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations. He was chosen as an outstanding graduate of Ohio State, lettered four years for the Buckeyes and was part of 4 Big Ten Championships, played 4 bowl games, including 2 Rose Bowls.

Jeff was a two-year starter, co-captain, twice All Big Ten first team running back and an Academic All-American. Jeff became just the third person in Ohio State football history for rush for over 1,000 yards in a regular season (1976).

Graduate of North Canton Hoover HS, where he set Stark County scoring records for career and a season (426 and 216 respectively). Jeff was inducted into the Stark County HS Football Hall of Fame in 2003, joining his HS Coach Don Hertler, Sr. as the first individuals from the Vikings to be inducted. Hoover was 26-4 during Logan's 3 years including an undefeated season in 1972.

Jeff is a financial advisor in Dublin since 1980. He served 12 years on the Varsity "O" Alumni Board where he is a Past-President. He served on the selection committee for the hiring of Jim Tressel, and has been invited by current football coach Urban Meyer to speak to the football team about the transition into "real-life" after football.

He married Dena (Barry) Logan, a former OSU and North Canton Hoover cheerleader and they have two grown children, Katie and Christopher. Jeff and Dena live in Dublin, Ohio, and Jeff is actively involved with Jack Nicklaus' Memorial Tournament and is a two-time former club champion at Muirfield Village.

He has done radio and television broadcasts of the Buckeyes football games and appears regularly as a color analyst. He speaks frequently to youth and business organizations.
