2026 2014 Softball

Jenna Weisberg enters the Hoover Athletic Hall of Fame as one of the most decorated athletes in school history, a generational softball talent who helped build one of the greatest dynasties Ohio has ever seen. Weisberg led Hoover to four straight Division I State Championships and four Federal League titles, all while earning national recognition as the No. 1 high-school softball recruit in the Class of 2014. A four-time All-Ohio selection—including three first-team honors—she was also named the 2013 Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year and later recognized as the Stark County Softball Athlete of the Decade, cementing her place among the most influential Vikings of all time.

At the University of Oregon, Weisberg became a cornerstone of one of the nation’s premier collegiate programs. She helped lead the Ducks to three Pac-12 Championships and three Women’s College World Series appearances, earning two All-American honors, three All-Pac-12 selections, and the title of Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. She started 234 of 236 games, finishing her career ranked in the top ten in fourteen all-time program categories, a testament to her consistency, versatility, and championship impact.

Weisberg’s excellence extended to the international and professional levels. As a member of Team USA from 2015–2018, she competed on both the Junior and Senior National Teams, earning selection to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic pool and contributing to multiple podium finishes—including a WBSC Junior World Championship, World Cup silver and bronze medals, and a Japan Cup silver medal. She later played professionally in the National Pro Fastpitch league, where she was drafted 22nd overall and became a 2019 NPF Regular Season Champion with the Chicago Bandits.

Jenna Weisberg’s Hall of Fame induction honors a career defined by excellence at every level—Hoover, Oregon, Team USA, and the professional ranks—and celebrates a Viking whose legacy continues to inspire future generations.
