Dom Iero was one of the most versatile and accomplished multi-sport athletes in Hoover High School history, excelling in football, basketball, and baseball. A three-sport standout, Dom earned All-Federal League and All-County recognition throughout his career. On the baseball diamond, he was a two-time First Team All-Federal League and First Team All-County selection, earning Federal League Player of the Year and Honorable Mention All-Ohio honors as a senior. On the basketball court, he earned First Team All-Federal League honors as a junior and First Team All-County and Honorable Mention All-Ohio recognition during his senior season.

Dom's senior football season further established him among Ohio's elite athletes. As Hoover's quarterback, he was named Federal League Player of the Year and Northeast Inland District Player of the Year, while earning First Team All-Federal League, First Team All-County, First Team All-Northeast Inland District, and First Team All-Ohio honors. He also received First Team All-County recognition as a punter. Dom continued his athletic career at the collegiate level, where he earned All-MAC Defensive Team honors in 2017.

His ability to excel across three sports, combined with his leadership and competitive drive, left a lasting mark on Hoover Athletics. Hoover High School is proud to welcome Dom Iero into the Hoover High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
