Robert Kane
Robert Kane was a four-sport athlete at Ithaca High, playing football, basketball, baseball, and track in his junior and senior years. He was a State champion in the 100 and 220 yard dashes. He went on to Cornell and was on the winning 440 and 880 yard relay teams at the 1934 Penn Relays. He was Director of Athletics at Cornell for 37 years and served on the U.S. Olympic Committee, including four years as president. Bob is a member of the Cornell and Section IV Halls of Fame.
