Jane Holcomb Bryant was a three-sport athlete in track, swimming, and basketball.

In track, she was captain and MVP in her junior and senior years. She was the Section IV champion in the 100 in '72 and '73 and in her senior year, was the STAC champion in the 50- and 100-yard sprints and was a member of the STAC champion 400 relay.

In basketball, she was the team's leading scorer and rebounder in her junior and senior years, and was team captain her senior year. In swimming, Jane was undefeated in dual meets as a diver, and was a sectional qualifier.

At Ithaca College, Jane rowed in the first varsity boat for four years. She has been an instructor in physical education in the Ithaca City School District since 1988, and has coached softball and basketball.
