Rick Wells played three years of football and four years of basketball and baseball for Ithaca High. During his senior year he was co-captain of each of those teams and an all-STAC in each sport. He attended the University of Buffalo where he lettered in those same three sports and was co-captain of the football and baseball teams in his senior year. In 1968 and 1969 he played baseball in the Kansas City Royals organization. Rick is a member of the Section IV Hall of Fame.
