Augie Macali

Augie Macali played football, basketball, baseball, and track for Ithaca High from 1931 through 1934. He was a league all-star in football all four years, and was the league scoring leader in basketball during the 1933-1934 season. He played football for Temple, Cortland State, and the Philadelphia Eagles. In 1946 he started his long tenure, stretching into the 1980's, as a high school and college official for football and baseball. He was inducted into the Section IV Hall of Fame in 1972.
