Fred Seither won multiple letters in football, basketball and track. In his senior season, the baseball team won the Sectionals and he was co-captain of the football team. He attended Ithaca College and played football for 4 years. He was employed in the Saugerties school district from 1957 through 1984, and coached football, basketball, and wrestling. His football teams were undefeated in '61, '62 and '63, going 24-0. Fred served as director of athletics for the Saugerties district from '62 to '84, introducing girls volleyball, softball, basketball and track. He is a member of the Saugerties and Ithaca College halls of fame, and was named one of the Top Eleven Ithaca College Football Players of the 1940's.
