Jessica swam for 2 years and played lacrosse for 4 years, graduating from Ithaca High School in 1999.

Jessica was Captain of the lacrosse team her Junior and Senior years. As a Senior, she was voted a Section IV 1st Team All Star, was leading scorer for the team and was designated a High School All American. Her team also won the Section IV Class A Championship in both 1998 and 1999.

Jessica went on to Ithaca College to play Varsity lacrosse where she broke a 20-year old school record for most career points. She was captain her Junior and Senior years and was designated an All-American her Senior year.
