Inducted January 28, 2005

Alan Howell (Class of '72) lettered on 3 IHS football teams that were completely undefeated, including the 1970 team that was ranked #1 in the State, and was co-captain in his senior season. He earned 4 letters in hockey and was captain of that team, and lettered in lacrosse as well. At Ithaca College he earned 11 letters in football, hockey and lacrosse. He was captain of the hockey and lacrosse teams, and was an all-American selection in lacrosse.

In football he played in Division III national bowl games in his junior and senior years. Graduated from IC in 1976 with a degree in physical therapy. He is a member of the Ithaca College Hall of Fame. In 1998 he played on a team that won the World Lacrosse Tournament in the masters division, and in 2004 was named Coach of the Year for Division III high school lacrosse in the State of Ohio.
