Joe Tatscore played many sports from 1919 to 1922. He coached basketball, soccer, cross country, football and track. His basketball team was undefeated for two years, winning 37 games. He was the Athletic Director for 18 years through 1951. Joe played on the Ithaca Eagles Baseball Team that won the New York Newspaper Championship. Joe was the first baseball coach at Ithaca College and an officer for Section IV and Southern Zone football. The baseball field is named after him.
