Henry Johnson was one of our finest athletes at IHS in the 1930's, excelling in football, basketball and track and winning 8 varsity letters. He was a tri-captain of the basketball team in his senior year, and after graduation became a long-time public servant and mentor to youth, as an officer with the Ithaca Police Department and a small-fry football coach. He is a member of the Section IV Hall of Fame.
